Job Description

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Laravel Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling secure web applications and robust RESTful APIs using the Laravel framework. You will work closely with frontend developers and system administrators to design database architectures, integrate third-party services, and optimize application performance for a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities

Backend & API Development: Design, build, and maintain efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules using the Laravel framework and modern architectural patterns. Database Architecture: Create and optimize complex SQL database schemas, Eloquent ORM relationships, and database migrations. API Integration & Security: Develop RESTful APIs for frontend/mobile consumption and integrate third-party services, payment gateways, and external APIs securely. Performance & Optimization: Identify and resolve application bottlenecks, optimize database queries, and implement effective caching strategies (Redis/Memcached). Code Quality & Maintenance: Write clean, readable code following PSR standards, conduct code reviews, and write unit/feature tests (PHPUnit/Pest).

Requirements

Core Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in PHP, Laravel Framework, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and MVC architecture. Database Management: Deep hands-on experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL, Eloquent ORM, database indexing, and query optimization. API & Security: Proven experience in designing RESTful APIs, JWT/Sanctum authentication, and web security best practices (OWASP). Frontend Basics & Tools: Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JSON, and familiarity with Blade templates or frontend frameworks (Vue.js/React). Version Control & DevOps: Expertise in Git/GitHub workflows, basic server configuration (Nginx/Apache), and CI/CD deployment processes. Problem Solving & Education: Strong debugging skills, attention to detail, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
